Engage Aurora
A new service from the city of Aurora, an online conversation sponsored by the City of Aurora, Colorado. The city thinks community engagement is important. This new service gives you the opportunity for effective participation and involvement in key city issues. Aurora is listening, so tell them your thoughts and together they will create one focus. Engage Aurora
Aurora appreciates your interest and involvement in the community. The City of Aurora is providing an additional way for residents to engage in the community. Aurora hopes you will take a minute to visit EngageAurora.org, an online conversation that gives residents the opportunity to exchange ideas and work with city officials on important issues in our city.
Through EngageAurora.org you can offer suggestions, prioritize choices, take a survey and even vote on ideas submitted by fellow residents on a wide range of topics from possible ballot questions, city projects, and community activities and events. And, you can do it from any computer whether at home, in a coffee shop or at the library.
The site is initially discussing extending the mil levy tax set to expire in 2015, but new topics will be added regularly. Since the site will be regularly updated it’s a great place for residents to stay in touch with issues important to the city.
Please join the conversation and cast your vote in a number of polls sponsored by the city. Current topics being discussed include:
-What makes a transportation and infrastructure project worthy of funding?
-Projects to improve access to Fitzsimons/Anschutz Medical Campus?
-General sidewalk, median and pedestrian improvement projects
-Would you support the construction of a 900 car parking structure at the Iliff light rail station?
